TippiePics > Day 38 Slate River We found the rock skipping MOTHERLODE! We've been here 100 times and I've seen this section of the shore, but it never clicked. Today I saw it and thought, "Hey, rocks for the girls to throw! They LOVE that." But what I actually found? Tons and tons of flat rocks for skipping! YAY! (Can you see my splash? I had one rock skip 5 times! And I suck at throwing.)

TippiePics > Day 90 Home In addition to photographing my sister-in-law's wedding here in Crested Butte on the 16th, having the reception in our front yard, I'm also making her necklace! LOL! (I think I'm a glutton for punishment.) I used to make jewelry in a former life (read: before children) and find it very therapeutic and relaxing. I had forgotten about that! (The orange beads are markers between different choices of how I beaded. The peridot - green beads - will be a drop at the back of a pearl necklace. Simple and elegant, I hope!)
