002 Doug and Catherine's house, Denver On December 31st, my dad retired. As you can see from his goofy face (no that's not his normal expression!), he's far from retired from life! Here he is with all but one of his grandchildren - and it's obvious how much they care about him. I'm so very lucky to have a dad that is goofy, fun, smart, open, funny and so much more. But one of the things I love the most about him is that he has a love of life that, unfortunately, his parents didn't posses. It is going to be great seeing what he and my mother do for fun during their "retirement".
