TippiePics > 032 Crested Butte South CB Life While this may look beautiful to some, I'm sick of it. Snow. Crested Butte now has 418" of snow. A record. For those counting, that's almost 35' of snow. Thirty five. THIRTY FIVE FEET. Will spring EVER come? Nope, we're getting 12" more today. Make that THIRTY SIX FEET. Sigh.

TippiePics > 027 Home CB Life Going through a very uninspired photography time. Honestly, I'm not sure I want to do this project. I mean, I really do, but I'm just sick of the pressure of it. I think it wouldn't be so bad if I wasn't feeling so yucky lately. Anyway, this is ice. No, not snow, ice surrounds that post. The snow melts and drips down and surrounds the post every year. This year is worse than most. I think it'll melt sometime in 2010.
TippiePics > 026 Dallas, Texas Friends It's amazing how you can go 7 years between seeing a good friend and still pick up just where you left off. Laura and her husband, Pat, opened their house to Ellie, Sammie and me for two nights without hesitation. I worried about how it would go, after all... the last time we'd hung out a lot we didn't have children and things were quite different. But I didn't need to worry. It was amazing seeing them. I don't often get sad leaving friends, but I was in tears the morning I left. I miss them. I miss our friendship.
TippiePics > 025 White Rock Lake Park, Dallas, Texas While in Dallas, we also visited my friends, Laura and Pat, and I met their daughters for the first time. (Okay, I'd met the oldest at about 8 months old, but that was 7 years ago!) My girls and theirs got along wonderfully! They had an awesome time playing at the park.
