Original color photo
This is the original photo in color.
Black and White
The same color in Black and White. This is a true black and white with no color cast at all.
Warm Black and White
This is a black and white image with a very slight sepia tone to it. I personally find that this gives a warmer feel than a standard black and white.
Sepia
This is a mono-tone image with a brownish yellow cast. I suggest this in special circumstances only.
Selective Colorizing
This is a monotone image (in this case, a warm black and white) with a selected portion of the image remaining in color. To see a closer view, click on Sam to see her eyes are still blue!

Vignette
While not extremely obvious, this can often bring out the main subject of the image better. A vignette is a darkening of the outside edges or selected areas of the image to force your eye towards the subject. You can see this is the case when you compare this image to any of the above when looking at the edges. They are darker and you tend to notice (in this case) the face much more rather than the background.
