Do you see those gorgeous vases? My mother bought them. She's amazing. I'm very lucky to have someone like her in my life....

Oh, and the tulips look awesome in them. Can you see the "T" on them? I LOVE LOVE these! Very tasteful, gorgeous, amazing vases. Lucky me. Both for mom and vases.

I call this on my "50mm Blues" photo. Why? Because my favorite lens - my 50mm f/1.4 - isn't focusing correctly. This was taken with my second favorite lens... Now I have to send my favorite lens back to Canon and cross my fingers that it's home in time for the trip to Mexico at the beginning of May. Waaaah!

Driveway

Driveway - 3
Elbow, hip, knee - 0

Took my bike out for the first time yesterday... Came home after a nice, easy ride up the fully paved rec path (about 7 miles) and did great - until I tried to unclip from my bike. OW! The clips on my shoes twisted and I couldn't get them out. Bummer.

But as they say, "If you didn't bleed, you didn't ride!"

I still feel stupid. ;)

"Reflections at the Bus Stop"

I've had a lot of amazing things happen to me lately.... I reflected on them a lot today. I feel very blessed!

This is where the free shuttle stops. It takes you through town and up to the mountain. Very handy! We jump on this when we ski on the mountain - or to entertain the girls on a boring day.

(Yes, that's my bike with groceries in it.)

Totem Pole Park

After taking several other photos throughout town, I took this at the last minute for giggles and grins. Although my face is blown out, I really like the way this turned out. I just didn't like the other photos as much!

This park is so cute... I'm sure you'll see more of it sometime!

Crested Butte South
Caves Trail

Well, I couldn't get to town to take another shot, but I thought this might work instead. This is a trail in CB South that leads up to some caves. Amazingly, both girls were able to make it up the 500'+ vertical feet, 1 mile long hike just fine! Sammie pooped out about 1/3 of the way down, but Ellie was running at the end. Amazing!

Oh, and it was a gorgeous hike, too! Even brown and early in the season....
